Positive Scribing PS Plate Usage Direction
With
advanced automatic Spool PS Plate production flow line, adopting worldly advanced
multilayer graining technology, Oriental Printing Plate Material Plant Taizhou,
Jiangsu produces Oriental Positive Scribing PS Plate that has stable quality,
excellent performance, good gradation reduction, anti-pollution, high resolution,
and printing resistance. If by proper exposal and develop, it produces better
effect.
Recommended Usage (for reference):
1. Exposal
1.1 In practical usage, fix the proper exposal time, according to the light
source, power, wear degree, light distance etc, 1.2 The film density not
lower than 3.8 1.3 If use thirteen grade continuous gray ladder gauge to
fix the best exposal time, color plate should be burnt to 0.60 (fourth grade);
and proof plate should be burnt to 0.45 (third grade) 1.4 Having fixed
exposal time, burn plate, develop properly and observe whether 2% net point and
10 U have good resolution. And revise and confirm it in time. 1.5 Example:
3KW iodine gallium light, 1.2M light distance, new bulb, the correct exposal time
is 80S±10S.
2. Develop In develop, Oriental PS Plate Develop Powder
may be used. 12 kg clean water should be added into one bag of develop powder
(with sodium hydroxide that is dissolved by warm water) Develop temperature: 23℃±1℃
Develop time: 20S-30S (note: for aging develop solution, the develop time must
be prolonged.) 2.1 if the develop solution is over-concentrated, the plate
oxide layer may be destroyed. And the plate will become blurred and its anti-printing
force will drop. 2.2 if the develop solution is under-concentrated, test
it with "test strip" ; burn it 2-98% net point for proof plate; 3-97% net point
for run-on plate, depending on the density of solution. 2.3 when preparing
develop solution, it must be well agitated and completely dissolved. If not used
immediately, put it in sealed container to avoid failure. 2.4 with the
increase of develop amount, the efficacy of develop solution drops. The darkening
color also affects observation. So develop solution must be compensated and replaced
regularly. To strengthen the spreading property of develop solution and surface
active agent, the develop solution has large allowance and the hydrophily is reinforced.
